Kellerman – SA’s Leading Flautist Launches New Website

Wouter Kellerman - South Africa's Premier Flautist Launches New WebsiteWe’ve just launched the new website for the critically acclaimed South African flautist Wouter Kellerman. This SAMA (South African Music Awards) nominated musician’s debut album ‘Colour’ was mixed by multiple Grammy winner Husky Hoskulds, who has also mixed albums for Norah Jones and Sheryl Crow among others.

Kellerman and his hard working manager Tholsi Pillay had been exploring a number of different avenues on which to promote his brand online including social networking websites such as Facebook, RawRip, MySpace, Twitter but they needed a new website to act as a unifying central point for their brand.

We created a Joomla CMS website for him that included a unique template (that we designed and developed in house) and a wide range of features that will allow visitors to the website to fully engage with and experience Kellerman’s music and Kellerman as a brand. Highlights of these include;

  • A jukebox that streams extended MP3 clips of all of the tracks from the album
  • YouTube video gallery
  • Photo gallery - includes images from album shoots, rehearsals, making of the videos, and gigs
  • Gig Calendar
  • Press Pack Download Centre
  • Newsletter - includes auto responder with free download attachments of sheet music and an MP3 track
  • The homepage of the site also includes a number of RSS Feeds to allow the website to automatically include updates from Kellerman’s Twitter feed and Blog.

We will also be conducting ongoing support of the website, uploading gigs, photos, videos and news onto the website as well as sending out a regular newsletter to the Kellerman fan base and Kellerman's contacts in the industry.
